Alicia has been a member of the Canventa Clinical Staff since 2019 and has built an environment focused on donor satisfaction and safety. Prior to joining our team, Alicia worked at Oakland Children’s Hospital, which explains her patience and amazing bedside manner. She loves her job because it allows her to work with her amazing staff and interact with the donors that make Canventa what it is.

Mariann has been with Canventa since 2019, after working for many years with patients undergoing Cancer treatment and Bone Marrow Transplant at Alta Bates-Summit Medical Center. She has been working with healthy donors since 2008 and loves our diverse donor pool, which means meeting folks from all walks of life, learning about their lives and interests, and sharing her own. Being a donor at Canventa is a great way to make a meaningful contribution to medical research and get compensated for doing so!

Leigh has been with Canventa since 2020 and brings a high level of professionalism and humor to the clinical nursing team. Leigh’s friendly and approachable demeanor helps make the donation process an enjoyable one. She loves working with a great team and delivering quality cells to researchers while making the donor experience a memorable one. She is also in a friendly competition with the rest of her team over who can get the most positive Yelp and Google reviews.
Outside of work, Leigh enjoys socializing with folks in her community, introducing them to research that contributes to our health care system.

Jill has been with Canventa since 2021. As a brand new nurse, during those first four years as an Licensed Vocational Nurse, she worked at an inpatient psychiatric facility. After becoming a Registered Nurse, she spent the next 13 years working at a hospital caring for cardiac/stroke/neuro patients. Jill has also spent a few semesters as a Clinical Instructor for a nursing program at one of the oldest private universities in California. She loves her work at Canventa and feels that everyone should donate if they are healthy and able to.
